A couple weeks ago I was invited to attend the Grand Opening of a new boutique in Paso Robles, called BIJOU. I have heard wonderful things about the owner, Camilla Burns, and knew she had a fabulous taste in fashion – I knew it would be great! From the second I walked in, I was instantly impressed. The lighting, the decor, the color palette, the ambiance – everything was beautiful! A perfect blend of whimsical and chic. It felt like a mini-Anthropologie.
And although they carry some of my favorite lines, such as Mink Pink, The Laundry Room and For Love and Lemons, the store is more than a women’s boutique. They had a wide-array of home decor, beautiful candles, jewelry and even some fun baby items. There really was something for everyone.
And I absolutely love the name. Camilla named the store after her very fashionable daughter, Bijou (who works in the store as well). Camilla has always dreamed of owning her own boutique. She has years of experience in the fashion industry and has such a talent for making even the little things beautiful along with creating an enjoyable shopping experience, which is what makes this boutique such a great place to shop.
My bestie, Kellie, and I shopped, mingled, sipped champagne and tried on basically everything in the store, ha! We seriously wanted it all. We both ended up with some amazing pieces.
I fell in LOVE with this Miss June dress. It was designed and made in Paris and the detail on it is absolutely amazing. I felt like I could wear it so many different ways – with heels, with sandals or even cowboy boots. So pretty.
I would definitely recommend checking-out this darling boutique, you will be just as impressed as I was!!
